Not a lot here yet,and I don't know much about how to do webpages,but just wait..My name is Katie,I'm 28 years old and live in Southern California..I am a relative newcomer to both webpagesand to the internet,I have only been on thenet for a year and only now have I been brave enough to think about doing my own webpage..I guess this will be a work in progress I willbe adding more as I feel like it,and hopefully will put in either a guestbook or a message board or both.*note* I've already tried and screwed up gettinga guestbook *and* a message board..If I cando this I should be able to figure that out.unfortunately not=(Hello and a big grazie(whether you know it ornot)to Mom,Dad,Robert,Bazzie,Loonie,Tic TocMaggie,and everyone at work.*updated*(5/22/99)Just bought the new Radiohead documentary"Meeting People Is Easy"-great stuff,it showswhat a rock band's life on the road is like morethan any of the other "rockumentaries"I haveseen.It's hard to watch in spots,and its artfuldirection(by relative newcomer Grant Gee)maynot be to everyone's taste,but as a Radioheadfan,I enjoyed it immensely.Yes,I am biased,beinga Radiohead fan,but there you go!We also hear snippets of new Radiohead songs that willprobably be on their 4th album. *woohoo! yet more updates* 6/3/99 Well,I finally got around to updating this thing thanks to my job,things around the house and a bout with the stomach flu(don't ask)that's the only reason you aren't seeing anything new so soon... My topic for this time:bizarre weather.I have just experienced what I can only describe as absoloutely bizarre weather..i dubbed it "Junua ry",LOL.It was freezing cold and pouring down rain and even snowing in the mountains.Then again we shouldn't be complaining too much be cause Southern California needs the rain really badly.Personally,I rather like it..It's a happy medi um between June gloom and June heat. | |||||||||||||||||||||||

More about me:I come from a big family,I have 2 older brothers,who are 35 and 32.I also havetwo nephews(ages 1 and 3) and a niece whois 8..I am of mixed race(Irish,Black and Italian).Youcan tell I have Irish blood because I have freckles!)Was rasised Catholic and went to church mostSundays as a child..Kind of became a atheistas a teenager(long story)but have started going to church again in the last couple of years.Evem though I was raised Catholic I have been fascinated with Buddhism for the last couple of years,you would be surprisedhow many of the buddhist principles you can applyto your own life. |
